Don't forget the movie night tonight, April 25th, at 6:30 pm in the MES multipurpose room. Come and learn about the theme for teacher appreciation week, get your munchkin socks to wear and receive your April mileage club charm. This is a PTA sponsored event and all entries and free. Bring your own water bottle and a blanket, but popcorn will be provided.

We are finding so many coats that are being left at the school. After going through all of them and passing out the ones with names, the following three tables are left. Today is CCR day, the day that we hold parent-teacher conferences. The school release time has changed to release students at 12 pm. Lunch is still served for every student. Due to the continued winter storm, all Monticello schools will start at 10:00 am for Monday, January 8. All buses will be delayed two hours from their regularly scheduled time. There will be no breakfast being served but lunch will be served. Please check the district website often for possible updates. Monday and Tuesday this week will be Career Days. Monday will be dress up like what you want to be when you grow up. And Tuesday is Touch a Truck. The city and other volunteers are bringing vehicles to the school parking lot and speaking to students about their jobs. Wednesday - Friday there will be no school in observance of Thanksgiving Break.
