Good Morning everyone. As we set new goals to improve ourselves this year. May I recommend 3 ways to start your day this year.
1. MAKE YOUR BED: Each morning when you get out of bed, "MAKE IT". This sets you up to start your day with a "SUCCESS", success that you already made your bed. This act also produces a positive experience that will help to set and reset your attitude throughout your day.
2. CHOOSE YOUR ATTITUDE: Choose the attitude that you want to have. If you want to have a joyful and happy day, "CHOOSE IT". Don't give someone the opportunity to say "you must have gotten out of the wrong side of the bed". Let me tell you a secret, there is no wrong side of the bed. Choose your attitude.
3. DRAW ON THE UNIVERSE: The universe will give you what you seek. If you seek to be negative, you will draw it to you like a magnet. Think about the things that you want, whether it is financial, love, a home, a better relationship, or even better health. Place these thoughts into your mind and start building your life around it (as if it were already there). Stop wasting time on why you don't have something or how unfair that others get it. You are the director of your mind and only you allow what is played out on that. Be positive and uplifting even around others who "CHOOSE" not to be.
We cannot always choose the circumstances that we encounter, however, we can choose the attitude by which we deal with this encounter. Remember, we are not in this world alone. There is someone, somewhere struggling too and how you handle life, will influence how they "draw on the universe" too.
I hope that you can find what you are looking for this year.

Here is next weeks SCC Schedule

Home Internet Project Update: With the end of the 2020 year, the project contract with the developer expired. Consequently it is necessary for the district to pause a moment and set action steps to move forward. We ask for patience as next steps to move forward are developed. Our excitement and commitment to the project has never been stronger.

The intent and purpose of this Public Health Emergency Order No. 2021-001 is to continue the Stay at Home (Shelter in Place) requirements, for a period of at least two (2) weeks, including full 57-hour weekend lockdowns from 8:00 P.M. MST on January 15, 2021 through 5:00 A.M. MST January 18, 2021, and for the same hours on January 22, 2021 through January 25, 2021. This Order may be extended. These measures are intended to further ensure an effective response to the COVID-19 pandemic by restricting movement of individuals on the Nation to limit contact to prevent the spread of the virus and to alleviate the strain on medical response capabilities. All provisions of this Order are to be interpreted to effectuate this intent. Failure to comply with any provision of this Order constitutes an imminent threat and menace to public health.

Busses have left the schools and are heading your way! Please meet them to pick up homework and more! We can't wait to see you!

Parents and Staff,
Beginning January 4 through the end of February, the Utah Department of Health is offering free COVID-19 rapid antigen testing in communities across the state. Some of the mobile testing will be done in school facilities.
Areas are chosen based on high positivity rates, lower numbers of tests conducted, untreated wastewater sampling, and other surveillance data.
Anyone can get tested at these free testing clinics, even if they do not have symptoms of COVID-19. Anyone who wants to be tested can register online at https://coronavirus.utah.gov/utah-covid-19-testing-locations/. However, we also encourage anyone who might have any symptoms, even mild ones, to come and get tested. Online registration is encouraged to cut down on any potential delays at the testing site. If you can’t register online, you will be able to register at the site. Identification is required.
The goal of these testing clinics is to more quickly identify people who are currently infectious with COVID-19, including those who may not even know they are infected because they don’t have symptoms. Identifying these individuals will help slow the spread of infection in the community.
Test results will be emailed to those tested within 30-60 minutes after being tested.
Rapid antigen tests are less sensitive than PCR tests. Antigen tests work best when someone has symptoms of COVID-19 or when a person has high amounts of virus in their body. If an individual has symptoms and tests negative on the rapid antigen test or an individual doesn’t have symptoms and tests positive on the rapid antigen test, they will be referred for a follow up, confirmation PCR test.
Testing teams will consist of Utah Department of Health staff, deployed National Guard members, and TestUtah contracted teams.
