The fire department has determined with their air quality monitors that there is no danger to students or staff in the building. We are resuming a normal day.
As a safety precaution we have evacuated our school building this morning due to a strange odor. The students and staff are safe and warm inside the gym while the fire department and maintenance department determine the source. We will keep you updated as we receive more information via text and our website.

Join us for CCR Day at MCES on Tuesday, February 4 , from 1:00- 5:00 PM. School will be dismissed and buses will depart at 11:40 that day. The after-school program will not be held on CCR Day. See you soon!

School dismisses at 1:00 on Friday, December 20, for Winter Break. We hope you all have a safe and joyful break.
Our afterschool program at MCES will start January 6. It will run on Mondays thru Thursdays from 3:00- 5:30 PM. The program is open to all students in grades K-6; there are about 35 spots left. The program includes snacks, homework time, and fun enrichment activities such as arts & crafts, science, and hands-on learning. To enroll, pick up an application in the front office or call 678-1867 for more information.

There will be no school from Wednesday, Nov. 27- Friday, Nov. 29, due to Thanksgiving break. School will resume on Monday, Dec. 2. We hope all of our MCES families have a happy and restful break with loved ones.
We are so proud of all our MCES pageant contestants. Everyone did an amazing job showcasing their language, skills, and talent on Thursday night. We also want to acknowledge and thank our 23-24 Princess and Brave, Quinia and Noah who represented our school and community with honor this last year. Congratulations to our new 24-25 Princess and Brave, Mikayli and Tanner!
The MCES Princess and Brave pageant will be held on Thursday, November 21. Applications are due Monday, November 18, before 3 PM. Applications to can be picked up in the front office or from the Heritage Language teachers.
