On September 29th, 2023 San Juan School District had its 30th Annual Heritage Language Conference. The keynote speaker was Connor Chee, a Navajo pianist and composer. They also had presentations by James Junes, a motivational speaker and comedian, Jack Cantsee Jr., the White Mesa Bear Dance Chief, and The Martin Sisters, Tewakeedah and Dachuneen.
