SAN JUAN SCHOOL DISTRICT is soliciting work for Building Improvements at the following location:


San Juan School District is accepting Statements of Interest and Qualifications (SOIQ) from qualified firms to perform any of the following services: Electrical, Network Wiring, HVAC, Plumbing, Intercom Systems, Kitchen Equipment Services, Camera System Services, Refrigeration, Weed and Pest Control (IPM) and Painting Services.

The SOIQ information packets, including the submittal requirements and selection process, will be available beginning Wednesday, July 19, 2017, on the San Juan School District Website, (under Departments, choose Buildings & Grounds – it is listed under Current RFP List).   The SOIQ submittals will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday August 3, 2017.  For questions regarding this solicitation please contact Tom Corrao, at telephone number (435)678-1340 or email No others are to be contacted regarding this solicitation.

Montezuma Creek Housing

Montezuma Creek hosts a High School (grades 7-12) and an Elementary School (K-6). It embraces a unique beauty and atmosphere.  We offer 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.  The housing is located next to Whitehorse High School and just a couple blocks away from the elementary school. They were recently remodeled in 2006.

Monument Valley Housing

Monument Valley hosts a high school (grades 7-12) and the new Tsebii’nidzisgai Elementary School (K-6). Monument Valley’s beautiful scenery is known world wide. There are 20 apartments and 7 new homes to accomodate staff for both the high school and elementary school. For additional housing information contact

Navajo Mountain Housing

Navajo Mountain High School is a remote area of the school district. It has a quiet beauty that can capture those who see it for it’s worth. The high school enrolls students grades 9-12. The teacher housing is made up of 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom homes. For additional housing information contact

Tsebii’nidzisgai Elementary Housing

With the addition of a new elementary school built in Monument Valley in 2011, additional houses were needed and we are again adding new houses–by the summer of 2016, there will be five additional homes behind Tsebii’nidzisgai Elementary bringing the total to 14.
