Bilingual Education, Title VI Program, Native Youth Community Project
San Juan School District is committed to excellence in academics for Native American students. We offer services through Bilingual Education, Title VI Indian Education , Johnson O’ Malley program and Native Youth Community Project.
We sponsor an annual Heritage Language Conference for teachers, community and tribal leaders/members to learn more about the Navajo culture, history, language, etc. We have eight top-notch Heritage Language Teachers who are committed to excellence in education. We also have a wonderful Indian Education Committee who looks out for the best interest of our students.
Please feel free to contact the Bilingual Education Director, Brenda Whitehorse, at 435-678-1251 to learn more about the Bilingual Education Program at San Juan School District.
