Location: District Office
Salary: Placed on the Administrative Salary Schedule Range 40 (10 month contract).
Hours: 8 hrs per day, 10 month contract, 198 days. Position to begin August 2, 2019. Some summer work will be offered based on the availability of the selected candidate.
Job QualificationsBachelor’s degree required. Licensed Secondary CTE Teacher, Higher Education CTE instructor, or Licensed Administrator w/ CTE experience preferred. Knowledge of CTE program pathways – Agriculture, Business/Marketing, Computer Science, Health Science, Technology, and Skilled Trades.
Job ResponsibilitiesThis position is a joint position between the San Juan School District and USU- Blanding. The CTE Pathways Coordinator works under the direction of the CTE Director for the San Juan School District and CTE Director for USU-Blanding Campus. The coordinator’s primary responsibilities include Secondary and University Educational Pathways, Pathways counseling and support, coordination of Concurrent Enrollment, Career & Technical Student Organization (CTSO) support, Work-Based Learning (WBL) and internships, program related advising, strategically planning course offerings, evaluating curriculum, writing/editing course descriptions, and recruiting.
